The best meeting pods in New Zealand.
Once you go past two people, ventilation stops being a footnote and becomes the specification that decides everything.
Our meeting pods start at $14,625 ex GST delivered for two people and go to $20,335 for six. Every one is Class A to ISO 23351-1, so the real question is ventilation: we move 218 m³/h in the four-person Meet and 327 m³/h in the six-person Max, with the air fully changed every couple of minutes and the fans still running when the pod is empty.
Why ventilation is the deciding spec here
A one-person booth holds one person and a laptop. A six-person pod holds six people, six laptops and a screen, in a sealed box, for an hour.
Each occupant is roughly a 100 watt heat source before you count the equipment. A meeting pod with the ventilation capacity of a phone booth becomes unpleasant about twenty-five minutes into a meeting, which is exactly when people stop booking it.
Ask for airflow in m³/h and the air change interval, and ask what happens between meetings — a pod booked back to back never clears unless the system runs while it is empty.
The options
RankedFocusPod Meet — the four-person default
2300 × 1785 mm with 4.1 m² inside, so four people fit around a table without anyone reaching over someone. Class A to ISO 23351-1, 218 m³/h airflow with the air changed every 2.2 minutes, and it keeps cycling five minutes in every thirty when empty. Wall-mounted screen is a common addition and power is already inside.
Against it: it is a square-ish footprint and needs a corner or island position. If your space is a narrow wall run, look at the Team instead.
FocusPod Max — best value per seat
Six people, 6.77 m², 327 m³/h of airflow. At roughly $2,500 a seat it is the best value per head in the range by a wide margin — a one-person booth works out around three times that.
Against it: 6.77 m² is real floor space and 970 kg is real weight. Check the position before you order rather than after.
FocusPod Team — for narrow spaces
2300 × 966 mm — under a metre deep. Seats two rather than four, but it fits flat against a wall run or window line where nothing else here will. Same Class A acoustics and the same 110 m³/h ventilation as the Duo.
Against it: two people, not four. If you need a table with four around it this is the wrong pod.
Framery Quad Meet — the premium four-person option
Class A, Finnish manufacture, and the smart technology across the range — booking integration, occupancy analytics, sound masking. Genuinely well built.
Against it: no published New Zealand price, so getting a number means a dealer and a wait. The technology earns its premium if your meeting rooms already run on a booking platform and the pods need to join it.
Building the room instead — occasionally right, usually not
A built meeting room is the correct answer above about six people, or where the space needs plumbing or a fixed AV rig.
Against it: two to six weeks of trades on an occupied floor, landlord approval, and a make-good obligation at lease end that never appears on the fitout quote. A pod installs in a morning and leaves with you.

Cost per seat
Where the value sitsCost per person falls sharply as pods get larger. A one-person booth is around $7,600 a seat. A six-person pod seats six for roughly $2,500 each.
If the problem is meetings rather than calls, the larger models are far better value per head — provided you have the floor area to give them, which is the constraint that usually decides it.
