Office Pods Auckland
Auckland, Auckland Region
Office pods in Auckland.
Delivery included to main centres, installed in a morning, and we handle the dock booking with your building manager.

Acoustic office pods for Auckland workplaces start at $10,730 ex GST with delivery included, shipping from our Queensland facility, three weeks to handover. They run from a standard power point, need no council consent and no electrician, and install in a single morning. We coordinate dock and lift access with building management directly.
Delivering to Auckland
From our Queensland facilityAuckland enquiries cluster in three places: the CBD towers around Britomart and lower Queen Street, the Wynyard Quarter and Viaduct fitouts, and the Newmarket–Grafton corridor. Takapuna and Albany make up most of the rest. They have one thing in common: the building is usually more of an obstacle than the pod.
Auckland has the tightest building access culture in the country. Most CBD towers manage the goods lift through a facilities company rather than the tenant, dock bookings often need days of notice, and after-hours-only windows are common. None of that is a problem, but it is a reason to tell us the address early rather than the week before.
Delivery is free from our Queensland facility and in-stock pods are typically on your floor within three weeks.
Getting a pod into an Auckland building
What actually goes wrongThree things reliably catch people out in Auckland buildings. Goods lift length in the older Queen Street and Symonds Street stock, where the packed pallet length of 2310 to 2650 mm is the limiting measurement — not the weight, not the height. Floor loading in pre-1980s and heritage stock, much of which has been through seismic strengthening that changed what the floor plate is rated to carry. And dock booking windows, which in the CBD are usually controlled by building management rather than you.
Britomart, Wynyard and the newer Newmarket buildings are generally easier — newer stock, better docks, more predictable lift access. Symonds Street, upper Queen Street and the older Parnell conversions vary widely by building age.
We deal with all of this directly with building management. Give us the address and the floor and we will handle the paperwork side.

A booth placed directly alongside desks. Class A speech reduction is what makes this position workable rather than disruptive.
Send us three measurements
Internal lift dimensions, the narrowest point between the dock and the destination, and ceiling height at the spot. Packed pallets are 1270 mm tall and between 2310 and 2650 mm long — that length is what fails a lift. Send photos and we will confirm access before you pay for anything.

“We added a FocusPod Solo because private phone calls were becoming difficult in our open-plan office. It gets used constantly for client calls, Zoom meetings and focused work. It looks professional, takes up very little space and has freed up our meeting rooms for larger groups.”

“We use the FocusPod Meet for client appointments and video conferences almost every day. It gives us a quiet, professional setting and prevents clients from having to sit in the middle of a busy open office. The finish also matches our workplace extremely well.”

Common questions
From Auckland buyersDo you deliver outside the main centres?
Yes. We deliver and install everywhere in New Zealand, not just the main centres. Delivery to Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch is included in the published price. Rural, remote and South Island regional addresses may carry an additional freight charge — we quote it up front with your pod price, never at checkout and never after you have ordered.
Do you deliver office pods to Auckland?
Yes, free to any Auckland address and included in the published price. In-stock pods typically arrive within three weeks of order from our Queensland facility.
Will a pod fit in my Auckland CBD building's lift?
Usually, but it is worth checking first. Packed pallets are 1270 mm tall and between 2310 and 2650 mm long depending on model, and that length is what fails an older goods lift. Send us the internal lift dimensions and we will confirm before you order.
Can you deliver after hours in Auckland?
Yes. Many Auckland CBD buildings restrict deliveries to specific windows or after-hours only, and we work to whatever the building requires. Tell us the address early so we can arrange dock booking and lift allocation properly.
Do office pods need council consent in Auckland?
No. Freestanding pods do not attach to the floor, walls or ceiling and are treated as furniture rather than building work, so no council or building consent is required. Check your lease for landlord conditions on floor loading.
How much do office pods cost in Auckland?
$10,730 to $20,335 ex GST depending on size, with delivery to the main centres included and rural addresses quoted separately. Prices are published and identical nationwide — there is no Auckland loading.
Will my building's floor take the weight?
Almost certainly. Assembled weights run from 290 kg to 970 kg. Because the larger pods spread that over a bigger footprint, loading falls as the pod grows: roughly 143 kg/m² for a six-person pod, 171 for a four-person, 228 to 254 for the two-person models, and about 310 kg/m² for the smallest booth, which concentrates its weight over roughly one square metre. Most New Zealand commercial floors are designed to a 3.0 kPa uniformly distributed load under AS/NZS 1170.1, which is about 306 kg/m² — so the larger models sit comfortably inside it and the smallest is worth confirming with your building manager on older floors. We supply exact figures on request..
