Office pods in Auckland

We have installed acoustic office pods across Auckland and the wider Auckland region, with insured installers and out-of-hours scheduling where your building requires it. Every price is on the page, so you can work out the budget before you speak to anyone. Build the specification you want and we will confirm freight, installation and the complete project price for your address.

Six models, one configurator

Every FocusPod has a glass front and rear, built-in wheels and adjustable levelling feet.

Auckland buildings, and what they mean for delivery day

Auckland splits into three kinds of job. The Viaduct, Wynyard Quarter and the newer CBD towers have service access, a bookable goods lift and building management who schedule contractors regularly. Get the slot and the documentation in and the install runs to time.

Britomart and the older Customs Street and High Street stock is where care pays. Heritage conversions make excellent offices and often have one small, slow lift, or a loading door onto a busy street with a time-restricted loading zone outside it. We check the lift's internal dimensions and weight limit against the packed components before a date is agreed, because the assembled pod and the flat-packed pallet travel very differently.

Newmarket, Takapuna, Albany, Penrose and Mount Wellington are mostly low-rise commercial and light-industrial premises with level access and parking at the door. Those are the simplest deliveries we do in the region.

The local factor is the harbour bridge and the motorway. A North Shore or South Auckland address in the middle of the day is a different proposition from the same address at seven in the morning, so the delivery window is planned around where you actually are rather than around a generic city slot.

What we need to quote your Auckland project properly

Five things, and they take a minute to send. The full address including the floor and unit. Whether there is a loading bay or the vehicle unloads at street level, and any basement or gateway height restriction. The lift's internal dimensions and weight limit, if the pod is not going on the ground floor. Your building's receiving hours, and whether deliveries or contractors have to be booked, permitted or pre-registered. And a name and number for whoever will meet us on the day.

Send those with your enquiry and the quotation comes back with the real installation scope rather than an allowance that changes later. If you are not sure about the lift or the building's process, say so and we will work it out with your building management.

Installation in Auckland

Our installers are insured, and we will provide whatever documentation your building management, estate or free zone asks for before anyone arrives at the loading bay. Where a building only allows deliveries outside business hours, we schedule around it: evenings and weekends are normal for us rather than an exception you have to negotiate.

A pod is assembled in a morning. Two people can do it with the tools supplied if you would rather handle it in house, and installation is priced as a separate line so you can see exactly what it costs either way. If your site sits outside the metro, we use vetted local contractors and the service and the standard stay the same.

Lead time

Pods are made to the configuration you approve, and the current indicative lead time is around four weeks from a confirmed order, with delivery and installation scheduled on top. Your written quotation confirms the production, shipping and installation window for your address. If you have a date to hit in Auckland, tell us at the enquiry stage and we will be straight with you about whether it works rather than letting you find out late.

Every model, priced

No quote needed to see what a pod costs. Furniture and installation are separate lines so you can see what each part adds.

What is included as standard

Every FocusPod arrives with laminated glass front and rear, layered acoustic insulation, adjustable ventilation, dimmable LED lighting with adjustable colour temperature, power and an occupancy light. Speech level reduction is laboratory tested at greater than 29 dB under ISO 23351-1, the international standard written specifically for pods. Every pod is covered by our five-year structural and electrical warranty.

There is no separate charge for the black or white exterior or for the standard interior palette. Other exterior colours use the displayed upgrade price, and a custom interior colour is priced per pod. All of it is listed separately as you build, so nothing arrives as a surprise on the quotation.

See it properly before you decide

Take a look inside. The film below walks through the Solo, the most compact model in the range, and the 3D configurator lets you turn any model around, change the finishes and try the furniture layouts. If you would rather be walked through it, we will do a live video walkthrough of the pod you are considering and answer questions as we go.

Questions from Auckland buyers

Do you deliver and install in Auckland?

Yes, across Auckland and the wider Auckland region. Send the full address and the access details with your enquiry and we will confirm the delivery and installation plan and the complete project price before anything is payable.

How much does a pod weigh, and will our building allow it?

We will give you the packed and assembled weight for the model you are considering so your building manager can sign it off before you order. A FocusPod is freestanding, sits on levelling feet and is not fixed to the structure, so it adds a distributed load rather than a point load and there is no building work involved.

Can you deliver outside business hours?

Yes. Plenty of buildings only allow deliveries in the evening or at weekends, and we schedule around whatever your building requires. Tell us the receiving window at the enquiry stage and it goes into the plan.

What if the lift is too small, or there is a height restriction?

We check the lift's internal dimensions and weight limit, and any basement or gateway clearance, against the packed components before a date is agreed rather than on the day. Where the lift will not take it we assess the stair route and price it properly, or recommend a smaller model that will fit.

Does a pod need approval or building work?

No construction is involved. A FocusPod is freestanding and not fixed into the structure, so there is nothing to submit for a fit-out approval and nothing to make good at the end of the lease. Buildings often ask for a delivery or move-in permit for the day itself, and we arrange that with them.

Can I see one before I order?

Yes. Turn any model around in the 3D configurator, watch the product films, and if you would like to be walked through it, we will do a live video walkthrough of the pod you are considering and answer questions as we go. Send us the room dimensions beforehand and we will talk through how it fits.

Are the front and rear both glass?

Yes. Every FocusPod has glass at both the front and rear. Standard glass is clear. Optional PDLC privacy glass can be selected for the front only or for both the front and rear.

Can I move the pod once it is installed?

Yes. Every FocusPod has built-in wheels and adjustable levelling feet. Raise the feet to move the pod on its wheels, then lower and adjust them to level the pod in its new position.

Start with your room

Measure the space, count the people who will use it, and build the configuration. It takes a few minutes, no payment is needed, and you will have a real number to work with. Send us the access details at the same time and the quotation comes back complete.
