View material fire classifications
The acoustic lining is classified B-s1, d2 to EN 13501-1:2018: limited contribution to fire and very limited smoke production. The wall board is rated Class A for interior wall and ceiling finish under UL 723 / ASTM E84, with a flame spread index of 0 and a smoke developed index of 55. Upholstery fabric passes BS 5852 Part 1 at ignition sources 0 and 1.
These are material classifications rather than a whole-pod fire test. If your project needs a specific national fire classification, raise it early and we will confirm what can be provided.
Quality & glazing
Built under an ISO 9001:2015 certified quality management system. Glazed with 5 + 5 mm laminated toughened safety glass, certified Grade A safety glazing material.

The acoustic enclosure includes standard ventilation, adjustable LED lighting, New Zealand-specification plugs and power outlets, USB-A and USB-C connections, internal controls, an occupancy indicator and a concealed door closer. Furniture, installation and selected upgrades are optional.
The standard furniture package adds NZD 995 ex. GST . Alternative layouts and compatible extras are priced in the configurator.
Can I move the pod once it is installed?
Yes. Every FocusPod has built-in wheels and adjustable levelling feet. Raise the feet to move the pod on its wheels, then lower and adjust them to level the pod in its new position.
Can you include sprinklers and fire alarms?
Yes. Choose the optional sprinkler and fire-alarm combo in the configurator. It is priced per pod and included in your configuration total when selected. Your building manager may request it as part of approving the pod for your space; the equipment, building-system connections and installation scope are confirmed for your site.
What should I know about fire ratings?
Fire information is specific to the model and materials. A material fire classification does not establish a fire-resistance rating for the complete pod. Ask us to confirm the relevant test documentation for your chosen model and finishes.
An acoustic “Class A” rating describes sound reduction, not fire performance.
What can I customise?
Choose exterior and interior colours, an available furniture layout and compatible extras such as privacy glass, cooling and screen accessories. In stock in White with a Grey interior, as the pod only or with the furniture shown: order before 2pm and it is dispatched the same day. Made to order, you choose the colours, furniture layout, glass and films, and upgrades, in about 4 weeks. The selected configuration is documented before the build. Ask us about custom colours or requirements beyond the listed options before ordering.
Does ventilation mean air conditioning?
No. Standard ventilation exchanges air with the surrounding room. Air conditioning is an optional upgrade. On Duo, the cooling option replaces the standard ventilation arrangement. The cooling unit adds 350 mm to the overall height; its electrical and installation requirements are reviewed with your configuration.
How quiet is it?
Independently tested to ISO 23351-1:2020 and rated Class A, the band above B on the standard’s own scale, with a speech level reduction of 30.8 dB. The result measures how much speech is reduced as it travels through the enclosure.
