About FocusPod
About
We publish the price. That's most of it.
An New Zealand pod supplier that holds stock locally, installs with its own team, and tells you what things cost without a form.

FocusPod is an New Zealand acoustic office pod supplier based at Molendinar on the QueenslandWe import six models to our own specification, hold them in New Zealand stock, publish every price, and install with our installation team rather than a subcontracted network.
What we actually do differently
Three thingsWe publish prices. Every model, on the page, delivery included. Most of this category quotes on request, which makes comparison deliberately hard and stalls purchases that would otherwise happen — because the person championing a pod internally cannot put a number in front of finance without first committing to a sales conversation.
We hold stock in New Zealand. Standard white and grey pods sit in the Molendinar warehouse and dispatch the three-week lead time. Twelve to sixteen weeks is normal for built-to-order imports, and that lead time is a real cost when you need the space before a lease event.
We install ourselves in the capitals. The people carrying panels into your lift are the same people who know what the pod is supposed to feel like when it is finished. Spare parts are held here too, which is the difference between a two-day fix and a two-month one.
What we don't pretend
The pods are manufactured overseas to our specification and imported. That is true of almost every acoustic pod sold in New Zealand, including the European brands, and we would rather you heard it from us.
We also do not build smart pods. No touchscreens, no booking integration, no occupancy analytics. We put the money into acoustics, ventilation and build quality instead, on the view that a booth is used because it is quiet and comfortable, not because it has a screen on the door.
And no booth is soundproof. Ours are rated Class A under ISO 23351-1 at up to 30 dB speech level reduction, which means a normal speaking voice inside is not intelligible outside. That is the real claim, and it is a good one. Anything stronger is overselling.

What customers say
Named, with permission★★★★★
“We added a FocusPod Solo because private phone calls were becoming difficult in our open-plan office. It gets used constantly for client calls, Zoom meetings and focused work. It looks professional, takes up very little space and has freed up our meeting rooms for larger groups.”
Emily Carter
Harbour Lane Finance
★★★★★
“We originally purchased one FocusPod Solo to see how much use it would get. Within the first week, staff were booking it throughout the day. It has given everyone a quiet place to take calls without interrupting the rest of the office.”
Daniel Brooks
Westbridge Property Group
★★★★★
“The Solo has been a great addition to our studio. We have a collaborative workspace, which is excellent most of the time, but it can be difficult when someone needs privacy or complete concentration. The pod solves that problem without taking over the room.”
Sarah Mitchell
Coastline Creative
★★★★★
“I use the Solo Plus as a proper workstation for most of the day, not just for short calls. There is enough room for my laptop, monitor and notes, and it feels comfortable even during long stretches of focused work. It has made working in an open office much easier.”
Michael Tran
Apex Digital Solutions
★★★★★
“We chose the Solo Plus for employees who spend several hours each day in video meetings. It feels much more spacious than a standard phone booth and works well as a private office for longer sessions. The lighting and airflow have also been excellent.”
Rebecca Collins
Greenline Consulting
★★★★★
“We mainly use the Duo for candidate interviews and private staff discussions. It is comfortable for two people and creates a much more professional environment than trying to hold interviews at an open desk. It has quickly become one of our most useful office spaces.”

Common questions
Who is FocusPod?
We import to our own specification, hold stock locally, and install with our installation team in the capital cities.
Are FocusPods made in New Zealand?
No. They are manufactured to our specification overseas and imported, which is true of almost every acoustic pod sold in New Zealand including the European brands. What differs between suppliers is whether stock and spare parts are held here, which decides lead time and how fast something gets fixed.
Why do you publish your prices?
Because the alternative is a form and a wait, and it does not serve buyers. Most of this category quotes on request, which makes comparison deliberately difficult. You can see what any FocusPod costs in four seconds.
How many pods have you installed?
Several hundred across New Zealand, from single booths in small studios to multi-unit installations on corporate floors. Enough to have made most of the mistakes and to know which questions matter.
Do you sell direct or through dealers?
Direct. There is no dealer network and no distributor margin, which is part of why the prices are what they are.
