Choose the pod around your working day

An indoor home office pod creates an enclosed workspace within an existing room. FocusPod's range is for indoor use: these models are not weatherproof garden offices or backyard buildings.

For calls and shorter sessions, start with the Solo. For a seated workstation with more internal space, compare the Solo Plus. Furniture and equipment fit should be checked against the internal dimensions, particularly if you want a large monitor, adjustable chair or your own desk.

Solo or Solo Plus?

Dimensions are width × depth × height
Specification Solo Solo Plus
Exterior 1080 × 1000 × 2338 mm 1600 × 1375 × 2338 mm
Interior 942 × 960 × 2146 mm 1462 × 1335 × 2146 mm
Net / packed weight 290 / 335 kg 442 / 502 kg
Packed dimensions 2310 × 570 × 1270 mm 2310 × 890 × 1270 mm
Ventilation 0–70 m³/h 0–110 m³/h

The exterior footprint does not include door access or installation clearances. Solo Plus has the same external dimensions as Duo, but is arranged for one occupant rather than a two-person conversation.

Check your home before you order

Measure the room, ceiling and intended doorway clearance. A ceiling only just above the 2338 mm pod height is not enough information to confirm installation. Send the actual room measurements for a clearance check.

Trace the entire route from vehicle access to the final position: front gates, stairs, apartment lifts, corridors and corners. The packed lengths are much larger than many domestic door openings, so access needs a component-level assessment.

For upstairs rooms or suspended floors, have the floor assessed for the pod, furniture and occupants. Packed weight is for freight planning; it is not the assembled pod load. Apartment owners should also check building-management and strata requirements.

Comfort, furniture and equipment

Ventilation draws air from the surrounding room, so the room's temperature and air quality still matter. Adjustable fans do not provide refrigerated cooling. Plan suitable ventilation around the enclosure and take normal breaks during long work sessions.

Furniture shown in product renders may be optional. Confirm your chair, table, monitor and cable requirements in the quote. For calls, test your microphone with the door closed and fans running; an acoustic enclosure does not guarantee that no sound reaches the rest of the home.
