Office Pods for Open Plan Offices (NZ)

Open-plan noise kills deep work and privacy. Add a dedicated focus zone without building walls, and keep teams in the same footprint. For solo focus and overflow use, start with the Solo range.

Meeting Pods for Small Teams (NZ)

If your team needs quick stand-ups, interviews, and private chats, a compact meeting pod beats booking rooms. For 2–3 people with more space than a standard duo, go Team.

Quiet Pods for Phone Calls & Video Meetings (NZ)

Stop taking calls in corridors and kitchens. A dedicated call pod improves clarity, professionalism, and focus—especially in busy offices. The Solo is the cleanest starting point for calls and 1-person work.

Pods for Schools & Universities (NZ)

Create private spaces for student support, assessments, and staff meetings without major fit-outs. For small group sessions and campus meeting points, Meet is the most flexible.

Pods for Clinics & Therapy Rooms (NZ)

Confidential conversations need a calm, contained environment. Pods can create private consult space inside existing clinics without new rooms. For a larger, more comfortable consult or multi-person setup, Max is the best fit.

FocusPod FAQ (New Zealand)

Clear answers for NZ workplaces: choosing the right pod, delivery and installation, acoustics, compliance, and what to expect day-to-day.

Which FocusPod model should I choose?

Choose by headcount and intent. For calls and 1-person focus, start with the Solo. For 2 people with more space, look at Duo/Team. For small meetings, Meet is a strong baseline, and Max suits larger group use.

If you want a fast, objective view, use the comparison page to match size and use-case.

Phone booth vs meeting pod — what’s the difference?

A phone booth/call pod is optimised for short calls and solo video meetings. A meeting pod is built for 2–6 people, longer sessions, and includes more internal space for seating, airflow, and table use.

If your main problem is “where do staff take calls?”, go Solo first. If it’s “we need quick team rooms without bookings”, go Meet/Max.

How soundproof are FocusPods in real offices?

Pods are designed to reduce noise and increase speech privacy, especially versus open-plan. In practice, the result depends on your office baseline noise, pod placement, and how the pod is used (door closed, ventilation running, etc.).

If your requirement is absolute silence, that’s a different standard. If your requirement is fewer interruptions and clearer calls, pods are the right tool.

What’s included with the pod?

Standard inclusions vary by model and configuration, but typically cover the pod structure, internal lighting, ventilation, and integrated power for charging and devices. Optional upgrades can include seating, tables, and privacy solutions.

How does delivery and installation work in New Zealand?

Delivery and install depend on your site access (loading zone, lift size, corridor width, floor protection requirements) and your preferred timeframe. If you provide your address and any access constraints, we can confirm feasibility and options.

For multi-floor installs, lift access and turning clearance are the key constraints—send photos/video and we’ll sanity-check it fast.

Do I need council consent or building approval?

In most office situations, pods are treated as furniture or fit-out items rather than permanent building work, but requirements can vary by site, landlord, and internal H&S policies. For clarity, use your workplace compliance process and we’ll provide the relevant documentation where needed.

What power do I need on-site?

Most installs need a standard accessible power point. For specific electrical requirements (dedicated circuit, cable routing, or compliance sign-off), confirm your site’s requirements and we’ll advise on setup.

Can the pods be moved if we relocate offices?

Yes—pods are designed to be deployable without permanent construction. Moves depend on access constraints and whether you want professional disassembly/reassembly. If you’re planning a relocation, tell us the “from/to” addresses and floors.

What warranty and compliance information is available?

Warranty terms and compliance notes are documented for NZ customers. If you need this for procurement or landlord approval, use the warranty & compliance page and we can supply supporting detail as required.

How do I get an accurate quote?

Send: (1) model/s you’re considering, (2) quantity, (3) delivery suburb/city, (4) floor level + lift access, and (5) your timeframe. We’ll confirm the best-fit model and provide an itemised quote.
