Indoor office pods for coworking spaces in New Zealand
Plan quiet spaces around the way members share them. Separate demand for individual calls from demand for team meetings, then choose a mix of indoor pods that fits your floor plan and operating routine.
Count simultaneous use before counting seats
A six-person meeting pod can serve one group at a time. It cannot provide six separate private calls simultaneously. Record when members need enclosed space, the size of each group and how long sessions usually last.
For example, if three members need separate calls at the same time, investigate three suitable single-person spaces. If a team regularly meets together, compare the meeting range for that group. This is a planning example, not a fixed pod-to-member ratio.
Build a mix around the work
- Solo and Solo Plus cover individual call and desk-work requirements; compare the furniture and workspace inside.
- Duo and Team provide two-person formats with different footprint shapes.
- Meet and Max cover larger small-group sessions, with capacity depending on furniture.
Compare meeting-pod layouts and keep the category pages as the source for model selection.
Decide how members will share the pods
Set a booking or walk-up policy, a fair-use approach for long sessions and a way to report faults. Leave time for cleaning and any ventilation routine specified for the equipment. Explain how members should leave the space for the next person.
If you use booking or access-control software, confirm its requirements separately. A planning recommendation does not mean that a booking platform or access-control integration is included with the pod.
Place the pod within the whole workspace
Consider the journey from a desk to a booth, the surrounding conversation level, door swing, sight lines and access to power. Keep exits and circulation clear and review accessibility with the facilities team.
Check speech privacy against the intended use. A quieter enclosure is useful for calls, but sensitive member conversations need an appropriate privacy assessment. Read the acoustic guide before making privacy promises to members.
Specify a repeatable setup for multiple sites
- Record the selected model, furniture, finishes and equipment in one specification.
- Keep a separate access survey and receiving contact for each address.
- Confirm local power requirements and installation details at each premises.
- Agree the handover checks, cleaning instructions and route for support.
Nationwide delivery and installation are available with local teams. For a rollout, agree the schedule and complete quotation for each destination rather than assuming every site has the same access or project cost.
Budget for the operating decision
Use current NZD pod prices to build the equipment shortlist, then include the agreed delivery and installation scope. Decide whether pod use is included in membership or managed separately; no revenue or occupancy increase is assumed here.
FocusPod does not operate showrooms. Send your floor plan and member-use brief for a model and installation discussion.
Bring your project together
Start with the people using the pod, the tasks it needs to support and the space available. Send a project enquiry with your model shortlist, quantity, postcode and preferred timing, or configure your FocusPod in 3D.
No payment is needed to start a configuration. The approved specification and written quotation set out the scope before you order.
